We are system supplier for coating and impregnation plants and 75 % of the worldwide produced decorative papers run on our plants. MILE STONES
1928: COMPANY FOUNDATION
Foundation of VITS Elektro GmbH in Düsseldorf by Emil Vits. After the war the production of ceramic ovens, flat and waffle irons went on and - amongst others - stretcher frames for paper were constructed, at that time a kind of flotation dryer.
1957: IMPREGNATION LINE PT 1
The first impregnation plant of VITS has been built in 1957 and supplied to Brazil. At that time the company moved from Düsseldorf to the industrial area in Langenfeld, which then was completely unsettled.
1990: DEVELOPMENT OF THE S-DRYER
Connected to the supply of the first impregnation plant in 1957 is the beginning of the flotation dryer technology LAY-ON-AIR® of VITS. In its historic development this special dryer had got many variants and special constructions up to the modern S-dryer, therefore LAY-ON-AIR®is one of the core competencies of the technology leader VITS.
